Rolf the Barkeep
Rolf and his two sisters, one elder and one younger, are wards of the church. He’s incredibly handy in fights; when asked about his battle prowess, he simply laughs and says bartending beat it into him. Rolf felt he found his place at the Disky Framsel Tavern, keeping an eye on his spitfire youngest sister and serving the good folk of Salanista. It was never a perfect fit, but he found a friend in the eccentric Lilithiul who called himself ‘Avenger’, secretly sympathizing with the troubled man. Some of Avenger’s behavior just strikes him as downright odd – like the riding around on a float disk that only hovers a foot of the ground, putting his face at crotch-height with most of the population (yet on one hand, it makes intuitive sense) – but like a good friend, he doesn’t really press the subject.
Now Rolf finds himself assigned to a Kurothe with Avenger in tow. Though the Kurothe’s quest secretly fills him with trepidation, he seeks to honor the wisdom of his mentor and keep an eye on Avenger. Aiish, though, is proving to be quite the fabulous distraction. If only he could get Avenger to, y’know, SPEAK to her in an eloquent fashion…
